Wedding trends of 2020- 2021
Are big over the top weddings a thing of the past?
In these uncertain times, one thing is for certain if you’re tying the knot in the near future, your guest list is going to have to be limited. With so many couples being left in limbo right now due to not knowing what the future holds due to that damn C word! (COVID 19)
Are restrictions easing or are wedding restrictions going to tighten back up all over again? Who knows?!!
When it comes to planning a wedding, All those plans and dreams that have been months or years in the making suddenly thrown into turmoil, the great unknown..
Without question, the wedding trends for 2021 are going to be influenced by the Coronavirus lockdown of 2020. Expect 2021 to be a bumper year for weddings, thanks to Wedding postponed dates from this year. And with each of those couples putting their own personality and flavour on their day.
We predict 2020 - 2021 Wedding to be beautiful luxe intimate with all the trimmings.
This period of time we’ve been stuck in our homes – not able to hug our loved ones – will have a profound effect on how we choose to celebrate. We will not take for granted our loved ones and really want to treasure every moment of that day when It does eventually go ahead!
A little note from our Beautiful bride Maura:
“I recommend that you are flexible and willing to compromise. Given the amount of uncertainty, you may not be able to have the wedding that you have been dreaming of – especially with a large number of guests. However, don’t forget the importance of a wedding. It is about marrying your best friend with your family and friends present, and with technology – this is still possible. While restrictions are slowly easing, you may still be able to have the wedding you have been planning – but if you can’t, think outside the box and find yourselves some amazing suppliers. Delegate, and ask for help.”
